Each ministry at NCC Samonda is a living expression of our commitment to serve God and one another. Together, we form one body — each part functioning in its God-given calling.
Ministry
Covenant Women's Fellowship
Covenant Women's Fellowship is one of the most influential ministries within the New Covenant Church, which brings women together to strengthen their faith, share burdens, and build homes that reflect godly values. Beyond personal growth, the Covenant Women's Fellowship extends its reach to families, congregations, and communities, both rural and urban, providing both spiritual and social support. Our role can be described as nurturing, empowering, and transforming, anchored on biblical principles and the love of Christ.
Our Aim
The aim of the Covenant Women's Fellowship is to raise spiritually mature women who are devoted to Christ and who reflect His character in their homes, churches, and wider communities. At its core, the fellowship exists to deepen spiritual life, provide encouragement, and create a bond of unity among women.
Ministry
Children & Teens Department
The Children/Teens Department is a unique and sensitive part of God's agenda. In Deuteronomy 6:7, the Israelites were instructed by God to teach and train their children in the way He has led them. Jesus Christ our Saviour also emphasised the importance of drawing children closer to Himself in Luke 18:16. He said: "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God." Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." These and many scripture references are the basis for the Children/Teens Department in New Covenant Church Samonda, where the next generation of God's Generals are raised, discipled, and nurtured in the fear of the Lord through teachings and trainings, with emphasis on the power of the Holy Spirit, prayer, holiness, and evangelism. The department exists not merely to keep children occupied while adults worship; rather, it is a strategic ministry committed to laying solid spiritual, moral, and social foundations in line with biblical teachings.

To raise a generation of children who love God, obey His Word, and shine as light in their generation.
Ministry
Public Affairs Team
We are created to be an effective channel of communication for the church to connect with members of the public, including first-timers and others, helping them become responsible members of the local assembly at Samonda Church. Vision: To build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with the community, government, media, and other stakeholders; and to be a trusted voice that communicates the message of Christ in ways that inspire faith, foster unity, and impact society positively. Mission: To advance the gospel, fostering goodwill, and supporting the church's mission of transforming lives fit for the kingdom. The team calls first-timers during the week to find out how they are faring and to encourage them. Their phone numbers are also forwarded to relevant church leaders for prayer and follow-up.

Welfare Team
The Welfare Team shall be an integral part of the Church, responsible for meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of Church members and the wider community, thereby ultimately impacting the unity and social well-being within the body of Christ.
Our Aim
To be a Christ-centred and compassionate unit that will, from time to time, and consistently meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the members without leaving anyone behind.

Evangelical Team
We exist as a team under the umbrella of New Covenant Church, Samonda, Ibadan to be an arm of the church whose core assignment is to align with the instruction of our Lord Jesus as boldly and unambiguously stated in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you" and Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth." Soul Winning and Discipleship, as instructed by our Lord Jesus, are among the key doctrines of the New Covenant Church, and as a team, we have embraced them as our core ministry. Therefore, our primary assignment in the church is full-time engagement in soul-winning and discipleship.
Our Vision
Our vision is to use the church platform, structure, and resources — both spiritual and physical — to win souls for the numerical growth of the church, with a vision for the church's spread and expansion.

Technical Team
In the contemporary church context, technology has become an inseparable partner in facilitating worship, outreach, and spiritual enrichment. The Technical Team of the church is more than just a group of individuals handling audio, visual, and multimedia operations; we are a vital ministry working behind the scenes to create an environment that inspires congregational worship and fosters the spiritual growth of every member. The Technical Team exists to support members' journey to worship in spirit and in truth, as prescribed in John 4:24.

To empower the church to encounter God through seamless technical execution, enabling an environment where every individual can worship in spirit and truth.

Ushering Team
The Ushering Team is responsible for ensuring orderliness, warmth, and effective coordination during all church services and programs. The team seeks to create a conducive atmosphere for worship by guiding, welcoming, and assisting members and visitors with love, courtesy, and humility — reflecting Christ's nature in service.
Our Aim
To be a Spirit-led team that exemplifies excellence in service and hospitality, contributing to a worship environment where the presence of God is unhindered, and every soul feels welcomed, valued, and ready to encounter God's power.

Prayer Team
The Prayer Team of New Covenant Church, Samonda Centre, is a vibrant spiritual unit dedicated to building, sustaining, and strengthening the church's prayer life. Prayer is the lifeline of every believer and the powerhouse of the church; it is through prayer that we commune with God, align ourselves with His will, and release His power to accomplish divine purposes. The prayer team exists to serve as spiritual watchmen and intercessors, ensuring that the body of Christ is continually upheld before the Lord. As a team, our service is not only an act of ministry but also a divine assignment entrusted to us by God to stand in the gap for the church, the community, the nation, and the nations of the earth. We believe in the transforming power of prayer and in the words of James 5:16b: "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

The Prayer Team aims to foster a strong prayer culture within New Covenant Church Samonda Centre and to serve as spiritual guardians, continually lifting up the church, her members, and her mission before God.

Covenant Men's Fellowship
We exist to empower men to become spiritual leaders, mentors, and servants in their families, communities, and churches, modelling Christ-like character and integrity. Building genuine relationships: fostering brotherhood, accountability, and support among men. We encourage spiritual growth, Bible study, and prayer, and equip men to serve their families, communities, and church.
Our Aim
To bring together all mature men in the assembly for proper spiritual growth, to identify each one's gift and talent to be used for the edification of the body of Christ.

Youth Church
We exist to raise resilient, Christ-centred youths who can stand firm in life's challenges and boldly live out the gospel.
Our Aim
To disciple and equip young people through the Word of God, mentorship, and practical life training so they can stand strong in faith during life's storms, grow in Christlike character, share the gospel boldly, and positively impact their communities.

Drama Team
We exist to use drama as a powerful spiritual tool to communicate the Gospel in a clear, creative, and impactful way, leading souls to Christ and strengthening believers in their faith through disciplined and spirit-filled performances.
Our Aim
To develop and deploy a dedicated team of drama ministers who are grounded in biblical truth, trained in classical theatrical expression, and committed to evangelism — using stage plays and creative storytelling to present the message of salvation, inspire transformation, and reflect Christ in character and conduct.
